A Childhood Dream, Realized

• Interior: Matthew Hill Coach Trimming in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, fully stripped the cabin and reupholstered it in gray Connolly leather.
• Engine: Aston Engineering fitted a 4.7-liter Vantage-specification engine with fuel injection, paired with a DB4 GT exhaust to keep the car's classic sound.
• Drivability: A left-hand-drive conversion with power steering, updated brakes and suspension, air conditioning, and Borrani wire wheels make the car practical for regular use.

The car also features playful nods to the gadgets from the Bond films, including an ejector seat button that opens a bespoke retractable gun compartment.

"I wanted a car with good bones that we could take all the way down and rebuild," said Broidy. "The team in the UK did exactly that, and they didn't lose any of what makes a DB5 special."

Built to Be Driven
