Resurrection Medical Center Designated as a Blue Distinction Center for Cardiac Care®

CHICAGO, June 24 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois has designated Resurrection Medical Center, 7435 West Talcott Ave., Chicago, as a Blue Distinction Center for Cardiac Care. This accolade is based on Resurrection Medical Center's achievement of meeting evidence-based clinical criteria, developed in collaboration with expert physicians' and medical organizations, including the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS), and is subject to periodic re-evaluation as criteria continue to evolve. Resurrection Medical Center has demonstrated its commitment to quality care, resulting in better overall outcomes for cardiac patients.
