AUSTIN, Texas, May 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Today Rev Worldwide, a global leader in financial services and mobile payment products for underserved markets, welcomed former GE Capital Executive, Mauricio Benavides, as the Company's Chief Executive Officer of Latin America; former Visa Executive Daryn Griggs as the Chief Executive Officer of the company's Asia Pacific region; and former Dell Executive Director David Clifton, as the company's Senior Vice President of Global Merchant Services.

Mr. Benavides will be taking the position of CEO of Latin America for Rev Worldwide. Mr. Benavides's background and key leadership roles throughout the world have positioned him to directly impact Rev Worldwide's presence in Latin America, with a focus on strategic partnerships, operational efficiencies, and management.  He comes to Rev as former CEO of a Distribution Hotel Company based in Europe.  He previously served as a Vice President at General Electric, where, for eight years, he held a series of leadership roles including areas of responsibility in sales, risk, finance, and M&A. He also proudly served for three years as the national co-leader for the GE Hispanic Forum.  He currently sits on several boards in areas of finance, real estate, manufacturing, and food distribution worldwide.

Mr. Benavides holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from ITESM Mexico, and an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Finance from The Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell.  He will be based out of Mexico City where he lives with his wife and their three daughters.

Mr. Daryn Griggs joins Rev with an extensive background in prepaid, processing, payment networks, and payment product innovation management and sales. His entrepreneurship-driven experience will ensure Rev Worldwide's continued growth throughout the Asia Pacific region.  He was instrumental in building VISA Processing Services as it emerged from Yalamanchilli of India.  He spent close to four years at VISA as Head of Global Sales, responsible for processing services, before moving onto head Prepaid for Visa Australia and Prepaid Innovation for VISA's APCEMEA region. He has worked extensively around card technology and POS systems as the founder of Smart Card Innovations in Singapore.

Mr. Griggs will be based out of Brisbane in Queensland, Australia, where he lives with his wife and son.  

Mr. David Clifton's experience as an Executive Director leading Dell's North American Consumer and Small Office marketing will enable him to have an immediate impact on the products and services Rev is developing for Small Businesses and Consumers worldwide. Prior to leading North American Marketing, he led Marketing for Dell's Europe Middle East and Africa division, while living in the United Kingdom. His international experience provides a solid background for the continued expansion of Rev's products.

As the leader of Rev's new Global Merchant Services, Mr. Clifton also takes ownership of Rev's innovative mobile payment platform, COIN, specifically developed to empower small business owners everywhere, due to launch next month.

Mr. Clifton received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas and completed the Wharton Executive Program specializing in Finance and Accounting.  He will be based out of Rev's global headquarters in Austin, Texas, where he lives with his wife and three daughters.
