Revamped Global Pentaho Partner Programme Rewards Commitment and Lowers Barriers to Entry

LONDON, Sept. 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Pentaho Corporation, the leader in big data analytics and data integration announced today that it has redesigned its partner programme to reward commitment and make it easier to join. The Pentaho Partner Program is designed to support OEMs, system integrators, distributors, resellers and other channel companies seeking to build profitable and sustainable businesses based on Pentaho Enterprise Edition.  Pentaho's subscription model gives these partners even more scope to earn money from value-added services for business analytics and big data by freeing up customer budget normally allocated to software licenses.

To make it easier for new organisations to sign up to the partner programme, Pentaho has introduced a new entry level called 'Registered Member'.  Pentaho has also simplified the main partnership level, now called 'Certified Partner'. To reward commitment, Certified Partners that offer advanced services and sell successfully are eligible to earn the top 'Premium' status.  These new levels replace the previous Bronze, Gold and Platinum and make it easier for customers to select the right partner for their needs. Pentaho will migrate current partners to the new levels by the end of 2013, which are detailed here:

• Registered Member - entry level for organisations that focus on technology and services only. Registered Members have access to the Partner Portal and other valued tools and resources. There are no qualifying criteria for this level.
• Certified Partner - authorised to resell Pentaho subscriptions and provide customers with all the assistance they need to implement a successful business analytics solution. These partners have committed to a level of engagement with Pentaho and demonstrated their expertise by training certified staff. Certified Partners have access to sales and marketing resources to ensure their success in the market as well as enablement and technical backup from Pentaho to build knowledge and expertise.
• Premium Partner - partners earn Premium status based on their advanced expertise and business success. Partners achieving this level have access to additional benefits and are recognized with a logo and testimonial from Pentaho.
