Revance Appoints Melissa O'Connor as Senior Vice President, Global Regulatory

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Aug. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Revance, a fast-growing global leader in aesthetics and skincare, today announced the appointment of Melissa O'Connor as Senior Vice President, Global Regulatory. Ms. O'Connor will report directly to Nick Crowe, Chief Operating Officer – Revance.

In this role, Ms. O'Connor will lead Revance's global regulatory strategy and organization, helping ensure the company's products meet applicable requirements while positioning the business for efficient and successful approvals. She will oversee interactions with regulatory agencies, guide submission and approval processes, and lead the management of regulatory risk as Revance advances its pipeline, expands its global footprint and invests in new sites to support growth.

Ms. O'Connor has more than 25 years of experience spanning medical devices, combination products, biologics and human tissue-based products, with deep expertise in new product development, regulatory strategy and commercialization. She has developed comprehensive regulatory strategies supporting U.S. and European Union premarket approval requirements. An active member of the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS), she holds an active Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) and was named a RAPS Fellow (FRAPS) in 2022.

Most recently, Ms. O'Connor was a founding member and Chief Quality and Regulatory Officer at StimLabs, LLC, where she led Quality and Regulatory Affairs for the company's human tissue-based allografts and medical devices. She also directed regulatory and legislative government affairs, working with regulatory agencies and Members of Congress and their staffs. Previously, she held regulatory and quality leadership roles at QSpex Technologies and Chemence Medical Products and began her career as a materials and product development engineer with Kimberly-Clark Healthcare. Ms. O'Connor holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of Georgia and an M.S. in Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs from the University of Georgia School of Pharmacy.
