Revel Systems iPad POS Executives Invited to Participate at National Restaurant Association Show

SAN FRANCISCO, May 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Revel Systems, the leader in iPad POS solutions, today announced their participation at upcoming National Restaurant Association (NRA) Show. In addition to exhibiting at the event, Revel Systems will host the inaugural frozen yogurt (Froyo) competition at their booth where various frozen yogurt vendors will vie for top honor.

Alongside Revel Systems CTO & Co-founder Chris Ciabarra, three other industry experts will judge the first ever Froyo competition that will be hosted at the Revel booth 4181 during the NRA show. The three other industry experts include representatives from QSR Magazine, the International Frozen Yogurt Association, and Spaceman USA. Using a blind taste-test, the four judges will rate the frozen yogurt on Monday, May 19^th at 2:15pm. Results will follow and winners will be announced on Tuesday, May 20th at 11:00am. In addition to achieving the "Swirl of Honor" (i.e., the Top Voted Flavor), the winner will receive an engraved plaque to mark the occasion.

Revel invites attendees to partake and weigh in on the competition by casting their votes and depositing their ballots at Revel's booth by Monday, May 19th at 4:30pm. Different from the judges' voting process, attendee ratings will not be conducted as blind taste-tests. Voters will be given a ballot listing all participating vendors and can rate flavors on a scale from 1 (poor) to 10 (excellent). To reward attendees and thank them for voting, those turning in their ballots will receive special International Frozen Yogurt Association swag. The results of the popular vote will be announced at the same time as the expert judges' results, and the winner of this vote will be announced on The International Frozen Yogurt Association's website.
