Revelyix Partners with ASG Software Solutions to Increase Productivity for Data Scientists Working in Hadoop

SPARKS, Md., Sept. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Revelytix, Inc., announced today a partnership with ASG Software Solutions to include Revelytix's Loom software with ASG's Rochade and metaGlossary software.  ASG's Rochade is the leading enterprise metadata management and data governance platform and ASG-metaGlossary its companion market leading business glossary solution. Revelytix created Loom to significantly reduce the complexity of managing data in Hadoop and to sharply increase the productivity of data scientists working in Hadoop.

Revelytix's Loom adds critical data management and metadata management for Hadoop features including the lineage of all data transformations that occur in Hadoop. When data lineage in Hadoop is added to the rich data lineage already supported by Rochade, enterprises have a thorough understanding of their changing data landscape across both their legacy and big data platforms.  For Rochade customers, the addition of Loom will now provide end to end lineage from both relational databases and Hadoop-based data and analytics.
