LOUISVILLE, Ky., Oct. 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Revon Systems, a Kentucky digital health company, is partnering with Humana, on a market-wide pilot for a select population of Medicare Advantage members diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The program involves the use of the Revon Smart Symptom Tracker (RSST) mobile application and the free Breathe COPD Resource Kit, which contains a pulse oximeter and thermometer. The RSST application features a self-triage function intended to guide members toward the right level of care. The program seeks to evaluate the impact of digital therapies on clinical and business outcomes. Recommendations from the RSST guide users to take the appropriate early action on the basis of their symptoms, signs, and personal baseline health.
