NEW YORK, Feb. 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Seer Capital Management LP ("Seer Capital") today announced that it has hired Richard Parkus as a Managing Director and Trader for its CMBS investment strategy.
Parkus was previously Executive Director, Head of CMBS Strategy at Morgan Stanley where he oversaw all research related to Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities ("CMBS") and Commercial Real Estate Debt for the firm. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2010, Parkus was Head of Commercial Real Estate Debt Strategy at Deutsche Bank Securities. He also previously served as Director in Fixed Income Trading at Lehman Brothers in London, and was Co-Head of the Quantitative Mortgage Modeling Group at Lehman Brothers in New York.
In his role at Seer Capital, Parkus will work with the CMBS trading team, headed by Tony Barkan, and will lead the firm's efforts in identifying CMBS and Commercial Real Estate Debt investments.
