100 Percent of Artist Proceeds to Benefit Ringo's Charity The Lotus Foundation, Animazing Gallery To Host Private Reception For The Artist and Collectors

LAS VEGAS, Aug. 26, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Animazing Gallery in the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas announced plans today to showcase the artwork of Ringo Starr, coinciding with the Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band residency at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. Curated by Neal Glaser of ArtCelebs, the "STARR ART" exhibition and sale will run from September 5 to October 15.  It is Ringo's first art show since 2019 and the very first time that he will present his original paintings in addition to limited edition and signed works of art. 100 percent of artist proceeds will benefit Ringo's charity, the Lotus Foundation.

Ringo began painting using acrylics and oils, creating paintings for many years before he decided to start composing art on his computer in the late 90s.  Since his first exhibition of his paintings in 2005, which he titled "My Faces," Ringo's artwork has continued to evolve, seeing him experiment with different mediums and techniques.  This latest collection features his Spin Art, the process of which organically unfolded as all of Ringo's art and music does.  

"I loved Spin Art the first time I saw it," Ringo recalls. "I saw a video of some kids doing it and I thought I'm going to try that. I started with a small canvas and now I'm working on huge ones. You know it is always a surprise what you end up with and of course I love that part of it -one of the great surprises has been that I started putting canvases around the room to capture the overflow and whatever paint the spinning threw off – and those became their own art."  

Starr's work is in the "Pop Art" tradition, and has been compared to Andy Warhol and Keith Haring, given his colorful and bright images and the use of everyday imagery. It is playful, whimsical, imbued with his trademark humor and often with messages of peace and love.  

STARR ART will be open to the public, and the gallery will host a private event with the artist exclusively for collectors who purchase his art at the gallery prior to the event. More details to be announced soon.

Ringo is collected worldwide and has had exhibitions of his art in Europe, South America, Australia, and the United States. As always, 100% of his proceeds go to support the Lotus Foundation.
