Company becomes Leapfrog's first PAC member with a dedicated patient safety platform; Over 80% of U.S. health systems run on RLD
CHICAGO, April 30, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- RLDatix (RLD), a global leader in safety, workforce and data solutions for health systems, becomes the newest member of The Leapfrog Group's Partners Advisory Committee (PAC), reinforcing a commitment to advancing patient safety across healthcare.
Leapfrog established the PAC in 2009 to give healthcare companies a structured interactive forum for dialogue between the industry and Leapfrog's Management and Board of Directors.
This collaboration comes at a critical time for healthcare. Research shows that nearly one in four hospitalized patients will experience a harm event, 25% of which are preventable. Exacerbating this is the growing workforce shortage, with a projected shortfall of 307,010 registered nurses by 2027 and up to 139,000 physicians by 2033.
