Roanwell Completes Acquisition of Absolute Manufacturing, Inc.

BRONX, N.Y., May 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Roanwell Corporation ("Roanwell"), est. 1948, a leading designer and manufacturer of rugged communications equipment, today announced the purchase of Absolute Manufacturing, Inc.'s business assets and operations. 

Located in Pepperell, Massachusetts, Absolute Manufacturing specializes in close tolerance machined parts through the use of their multi-axis CNC milling and turning machines.  Other capabilities that Absolute Manufacturing offers include: surface grinding, boring and honing as well as value added services such as assembly and kitting. 

Absolute Manufacturing presently offers more than 1,000 products for integration into a variety of medical devices that are manufactured by leading original equipment manufacturers and Tier 1 medical device suppliers.

Roanwell Corporation will continue doing business under the Absolute Manufacturing name, retain all employees of the former entity and has leased the existing facility.  Roanwell plans to make additional investments in equipment and personnel to further enhance the capabilities of the company to pursue increasingly more complex projects and provide additional value-added services for its customers.
