Robert Cord Joins Cassidy Turley as Senior Managing Director of Property Management for Northern California

SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 10, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Cassidy Turley, a leading commercial real estate services provider in the U.S., announced today that Robert I. Cord, III has joined the company as Senior Managing Director of Property Management.  In this role, he will be responsible for the overall leadership, strategic focus and profitability of the property management division in Northern California.

With over 20 years of commercial real estate experience, Mr. Cord most recently spent four years at Kennedy Wilson, where he oversaw the management of 14 million square feet of commercial properties.  During this time, he repositioned the company's third-party management business, doubling its size within Northern California, Las Vegas and select markets across the country.

Prior to this, Mr. Cord spent two years as CEO, President and founder of Cord Commercial, Inc. in Sacramento, which specialized in managing commercial property portfolios throughout the Western U.S.  Mr. Cord also served for three years at CB Richard Ellis in Sacramento as a Managing Director responsible for overseeing the operations of the region's largest commercial real estate services firm.  In addition, he has held leadership positions at TRI Commercial Real Estate Services and Grubb & Ellis Company, both in the greater Bay Area.

Mr. Cord is currently a California Business Properties Board Member.  In addition he is an active member of Buildings Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and has held numerous leadership positions within industry organizations. These positions include:  BOMA California Chairman from 2006 to 2009, BOMA Sacramento Chapter President 2004, BOMA San Francisco Chapter President from 2000 to 2002, and NAIOP National Board of Directors from 2001 to 2002.  Mr. Cord earned a B.S. in Landscape Architecture from University of California in Davis.
