Robert F. Myers Named President of Phillips Edison & Company
CINCINNATI, Dec. 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Phillips Edison & Company announced the promotion of Robert F. Myers to president and chief operating officer. Mr. Myers has been the retail real estate company's COO since September 2010 and will now expand that role to oversee all aspects of the company's financial interests, operational programs and strategic planning. In addition to directing the company's overall business activities, he will lead the development of new business initiatives, establish the company's short- and long-term goals and evaluate operating procedures and results.

Mr. Myers joined Phillips Edison in 2003 as a regional leasing manager and became vice president of leasing in 2006. He was named senior vice president of leasing and operations in 2009.

Before joining Phillips Edison, Mr. Myers spent six years with Equity Investment Group, where he started as a property manager in 1997. He served as director of operations from 1998 to 2000 and as director of lease renegotiations/leasing agent from 2000 to 2003. He received his bachelor's degree in business administration from Huntington College in 1995.
