Robert Half Legal and MCCA Announce 2010 Scholarship Winner

MENLO PARK, Calif., March 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Robert Half Legal, a leading staffing service specializing in the placement of lawyers, paralegals and other highly skilled legal professionals, and the Minority Corporate Counsel Association, Inc. (MCCA) have named William Perry as this year's Robert Half Legal Scholar. Perry, a 2009 graduate of the University of Florida, is enrolled at New York University School of Law.  He will receive $10,000 to use toward tuition expenses.

"He demonstrates initiative and a true passion for law, which will serve him well as he continues to pursue his studies and plan his career."

The award is administered through the Lloyd M. Johnson, Jr. Scholarship Program, which aims to promote academic excellence and diversity in law schools.  This year, the program recognizes a total of 17 law students from disadvantaged backgrounds.  In addition to receiving scholarship awards, these students will have the opportunity to work with a variety of MCCA leaders and mentors to help guide their entry into the legal profession.
