LOS ANGELES, May 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- IMAX Corporation (NYSE: IMAX; TSX: IMX) today announced the appointment of Roger Pollock to the newly created role of Head of International Film Marketing. In this role, which will be based at the Company's Entertainment headquarters in Santa Monica, Pollock will be responsible for directing the international marketing strategy and execution for IMAX DMR releases.
A highly experienced film industry executive, Pollock was most recently Executive Vice President, International Distribution and Operations for London-based Paramount Pictures International. Previously, he was Senior Vice President and head of EMEA for United International Pictures.
