ROI Capital Appoints Joe DaSilva Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

TORONTO, June 28, 2013 /CNW/ - Return On Innovation Advisors Ltd. ("ROI Capital") is pleased to announce the appointment of Joe DaSilva to Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, a new position with the company. In his new role (which takes effect July 15th), he will be responsible for managing all of the operations of ROI Capital and its funds, as well as oversight of the compliance team led by Chief Compliance Officer, Gil Garbus Jr.

Mr. DaSilva is a highly regarded industry figure with over 22 years of extensive experience. Before joining ROI, he held the position of Vice-President and Chief Compliance Officer with Empire Life Investments, and previously also served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Hartford Investments Canada. DaSilva has also acted as a regulatory consultant for Deloitte LLP and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and has been an active participant on various industry initiatives, committees and working groups.
