Ron Alsop Joins Workforce Management

CHICAGO, June 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Workforce Management, the leading business publication for workforce management and human resources professionals, announced it has hired Ron Alsop as editor.

A longtime editor and columnist at the Wall Street Journal, Alsop is the author of eight books, including his latest, The Trophy Kids Grow Up: How the Millennial Generation Is Shaking Up the Workplace. He also serves as a public speaker and consultant on the Millennial generation, corporate recruiting, career development, corporate reputation and business education trends.

Ron Alsop is a veteran journalist with broad and deep experience in business journalism, daily news operations, special projects and specialty book publishing. While at the Wall Street Journal, he served as the marketing columnist and business-education columnist. He was also editor of the Journal's Marketplace page and its annual rankings of MBA programs and corporate reputation.
