Ron Peele Named President of STB Lifesaving Technologies(R)

ROCKVILLE, Md., Feb. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- STB Lifesaving Technologies® announced today the hiring of Ron Peele as President, to lead its transition from an R&D stage initiative, to a commercial business.  Mr. Peele has spent the past 25 years building companies as both an investor and operating executive.  He joins STB® from Revolution Health, where he was a founding investor and CFO, working closely with Steve Case from its inception to merger with Everyday Health, where it's now the largest online health company.  Prior to that, Mr. Peele helped launch and build the AOL/Time Warner venture capital group, making strategic investments in some of the industry's most successful start-up companies.

STB®, which stands for "stop the bleeding," is developing a suite of products to control serious and life-threatening hemorrhage.
