Roubini Global Economics Hires Prominent Economist Don Hanna to Head New Singapore Office

NEW YORK, March 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Roubini Global Economics (RGE) announced today the hiring of Donald Hanna as Managing Director, Asia. This marks a significant step forward for RGE's Asia research team, which will now be led by Hanna from the firm's newly established Singapore office.

Hanna previously served as Managing Director of Fortress Investment Group, where he advised on global macro trends, with a particular focus on Asia. Before joining Fortress, Hanna worked for Citigroup Global Markets for nearly ten years, ending his tenure there as Acting Chief Economist. Prior to this, Hanna led Citi's Emerging Market and Asia research teams, among other duties. Earlier in his career, he covered Southeast Asia for Goldman Sachs and spent seven years as a macroeconomist with the World Bank, where he monitored developments in highly indebted countries across emerging markets.
