Rubenstein Partners Names Mike Daugard as Vice President for Washington D.C. Office

PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Rubenstein Partners, L.P., a vertically integrated real estate investment manager specializing in value-added office property opportunities in the Eastern half of the United States, announced the hiring of Mike Daugard as Vice President for the Washington D.C. office.  David Rubenstein, Founder and Senior Managing Partner of Rubenstein Partners, made the announcement.

Mr. Daugard will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating and executing investments for Rubenstein Partners throughout the greater Washington D.C. market and will work alongside regional director Steve Evans.

Prior to joining Rubenstein Partners, Mr. Daugard spent the majority of his career at Washington Real Estate Investment Trust, most recently as Director of Acquisitions and Portfolio Management. During his tenure, he was responsible for sourcing acquisitions, in addition to disposition and portfolio management responsibilities.  Notable transactions include the divestitures of the REIT's medical office and industrial portfolios, and the reinvestment of the proceeds into primarily off-market office, retail, and multifamily acquisitions. He has also held previous investment sales and acquisition roles at JLL, Lowe Enterprises, The Mills Corporation, and Van Metre Companies and has completed over $4.5 billion of transactions in his career. 

Mr. Daugard graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland at College Park with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and later served as an adjunct professor for six years.
