Founded by Steve Walter (Berklee College of Music Alumnus) and actor Chris Noth (Sex and the City, Law & Order, The Good Wife), The Cutting Room opened on West 24^th Street in New York City in 1999, but shut down in 2009  once it outgrew the original space.  Now at its new location on East 32^nd Street between Madison and Park Avenue since January 2013, the esteemed club continues to build on a decade of history for hosting intimate performances by many of today's most well-respected musicians.  Billy Joel, Ronnie Wood, John Mayer, Lady Gaga, Sting, Sheryl Crow and the late Joan Rivers have all graced The Cutting Room stage either at its previous or current location.
