Rubin Rudman Adds Kelly Aylward as a Partner in Trusts & Estates Group

BOSTON, Oct. 7, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Rubin Rudman is pleased to announce that Kelly Aylward has joined the firm as a partner in its Trusts & Estates Group. With more than 20 years of experience in sophisticated estate planning and tax law, Aylward concentrates her practice on designing and implementing personalized and tax efficient estate, asset protection, business, and charitable plans for high-net-worth individuals, families, and businesses. She was a director at Goulston & Storrs before joining the firm.

Aylward's practice also includes administering trusts and estates for her clients, including serving a trustee and personal representative, as well as helping clients manage complex tax issues as part of the estate planning process. With a dual law degree and masters of law degree in taxation, she brings wide-ranging expertise to her specialized work.

Aylward is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and a member of the organization's Asset Protection Committee, where she serves as Chair of the Sub-Committee on Attorney Liability Exposure. She has held numerous leadership roles with the Boston Estate Planning Council, including serving as President (2020) and on the Board of Directors. She is also a founding member, past President, and former Board member of the Greater Boston Fiduciary Law American Inn of Court. She is active in many other organizations, including the Boston Bar Association, Trusts & Estates Section; Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP); Boston Probate and Estate Planning Forum; The Boston Foundation; the Professional Women's Collaborative; and the Trusts and Estates Consortium among others, where she has chaired various committees over the years.

Aylward has been awarded the Trust and Estate Practitioner designation by STEP and has been named as an Accredited Estate Planner® by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils.

Most recently, she was named to the list of Best Lawyers in America® for Trusts and Estates (2025-2026). She has been named as both a Massachusetts Super Lawyer and a Top Women Attorney in Massachusetts for 10 consecutive years (2016-2025). She was named a Boston Magazine Top Lawyer for Trusts & Estates in 2023.
