Rue La La Enriches Living Platform, Introduces Shoppable "Sunday Supper" Chef Video Series

BOSTON, July 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Rue La La, a leading online lifestyle shopping destination, announced today the launch of a shoppable "Sunday Supper" chef video series where product used by the chefs in the videos to prepare a favorite dish will be available for sale on RueLaLa.com. Rue La La has hand selected the celebrity chefs for the series, which will begin with Chef Sam Talbot of Top Chef: Season 2 on July 14, followed by Top Chef: Season 3 winner Hung Huynh and Food Network's Chopped judge Amanda Freitag in future episodes. Each video will be accompanied by a Boutique featuring the kitchen and cookware used in the video, distinct recipes, and giveaways, resulting in a seamlessly-knit, three-piece series that combines online and offline components for an experiential shopping event.

The product used in the video will populate accompanying boutiques for each, inspiring Members to cook just like each chef in their very own kitchens. In addition to the video demonstration, each chef has also contributed a second personal recipe for Rue La La Members to try at their leisure.  

Members will also be able to enter into giveaways tied to each chef as a part of the initiative, granting the chance to win such prizes as a personal grocery shopping trip with Amanda Freitag in New York City, a personal grocery shopping trip with Sam Talbot in Montauk, NY, and a complimentary dinner for four at EMM Group's modern Asian restaurant The General, helmed by Hung Huynh.
