Rug Doctor® kicks off Second Year of Holiday Hotline

PLANO, Texas, Nov. 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- While the holidays are known to sneak up on many, Rug Doctor, the manufacturer of the most convenient, powerful do-it-yourself hot water extraction carpet cleaning machines and products, today announced they are already prepared to help serve as a resource for consumers with holiday preparation and cleanup through Rug Doctor's second annual Holiday Hotline.

Beginning Friday, Nov. 1, consumers can utilize Rug Doctor's cleaning experts at 1-800-Rug Doctor for advice on how to best fight spills and stains throughout the busy holiday season. Plus, Rug Doctor has added an online component this year, and consumers can now contact Rug Doctor's cleaning experts via online chat on the Rug Doctor website.

"Rug Doctor rental data shows the weeks leading up to the holidays are one of the most popular times to rent our machines," said Lauren McCann, rental brand manager and spokesperson for Rug Doctor. "We know this is the time of year consumers are busy preparing for holiday houseguests and dealing with spills while entertaining throughout the season. Rug Doctor is here to help coach people through the spills and messes that are an inevitable part of the holiday season."

Whether it's red wine on the carpet or your favorite holiday dessert on the couch, cleaning experts at the Rug Doctor Holiday Hotline will be available to lend a stain solution. Beginning Friday, Nov. 1, through Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, call 1-800-Rug Doctor seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. CT or submit your cleaning questions online seven days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. CT at http://rug-doctor.custhelp.com/.

"Something consumers shouldn't have to worry about during all the holiday fun is the cleaning before, during and after the guests are gone – which is why we continued our Holiday Hotline in 2013 as a resource for our customers," McCann added.
