Rumble, A Boxing-Inspired Group Fitness Company Founded By Four Renowned NYC Entrepreneurs, Announces Initial Locations
NEW YORK, Sept. 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Rumble, a boxing-inspired group fitness company, will open its first location this fall at 146 West 23rd Street, near the Flatiron/Chelsea border, and a second location this winter at 700 Broadway in NoHo.
Rumble is founded by Noah Neiman (former Barry's Bootcamp Master Trainer, and cast member of BRAVO's Work Out New York), Eugene Remm (Co-Founder EMM Group—Catch, Lexington Brass, Tenjune, SL), Andy Stenzler (Co-Founder Cosí, Kidville), and Anthony DiMarco (13 time IRONMAN, former Managing Director, Google).
The four entrepreneurs saw an opening in the group fitness world to shake up stale norms. From their unique backgrounds- hospitality, service, and fitness education- and their shared urban-chic-meets-street POV- comes Rumble…the next generation of group fitness. One that doesn't take itself too seriously, but still delivers an incredible workout.
The boxing-inspired group fitness class is a 50-minute, 11 Round, full-body strength-training and conditioning workout crafted around specially designed water-filled, teardrop-style punching bags. The Music is Modern Classics that blend relevant music in hip-hop and house with timeless classics such as Biggie and Prince that have been customized with mash-ups and remixes that are specific to Rumble.
"I've been an avid boxer and group fitness enthusiast for years. I can't wait to bring everything I've learned about operating restaurants and nightclubs to Rumble," said Eugene Remm, Co-Founder of Rumble.
Says Noah Neiman Co-Founder of Rumble, "Our Mission is to create a new generation of boxers with style, sophistication and sweat."
