Run the Ranch, June 4: Eagle Ranch to Host 5K, Fun Run and Family Activities
Runners, Walkers Welcome for Family Friendly Event in Flowery Branch
FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga., May 4, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Eagle Ranch, one of the largest residential children's programs in Georgia, will host its first 5K and Fun Run on June 4. Participants will enjoy a closed course with shaded, tree-lined paths and beautiful paved roads with pasture and lake views.
Whether you come to run, walk or cheer others on, the day will be fun for all. After the morning's athletic events, snacks, a picnic lunch and activities will be available. Families and individuals can explore the campus, enjoy the Ranch's lakeside pavilion and family time on playgrounds, athletic fields and courts. This is a special opportunity to see Eagle Ranch's private 270-acre campus, with all proceeds benefiting the Ranch's mission to help make life better for children and their families. Please no pets.
For online and mail-in registration options – including a special family package – as well as the race day schedule and details, please visit EagleRanch.org. The registration deadline to guarantee a race shirt and lunch is May 20. The event will take place at Eagle Ranch's Flowery Branch campus at 5500 Union Church Road. Awards will be given to Overall Male and Female, Masters Male and Female and 1st place standard age groups beginning with 10 and Under to 75 and Over. All fun run finishers receive a ribbon. Families with strollers should be aware that a small portion of the 5K course is unpaved. Sponsorships are available for this event.
