Rune Announces Sponsorship of Singapore's GovernmentWare 2011

SINGAPORE, Sept. 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Rune, an information security firm committed to empowering the defense of privacy, today announced its sponsorship of GovernmentWare 2011. Rune security professionals will be participating at the event from 27 to 29 of September 2011. This event will be hosted by the Ministry of Home Affairs and will be held at the Suntec International Convention & Exhibition Center in Singapore.

Rune is excited to follow up its successful launch at Black Hat USA + 2011 with a local event that is geared toward the company's strengths in the IT security marketplace.  The theme for GovernmentWare 2011, "SecurITy: Navigating the Brave New Cyber World," highlights the importance of implementing a forward-looking IT security mindset to help thwart sophisticated and invasive cyber-attacks that are becoming more and more common every day.
