DALLAS, March 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Ryan, a leading global tax services firm with the largest indirect and property tax practices in North America, today announced the acquisition of Second Decimal, a tax technology firm with an integrated suite of tax calculation, certificate management, and workflow software applications that automate tax calculations and processes for improved efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. This acquisition will provide greater client value and results by combining innovative tax software applications backed by the Firm's strategic tax advisory and recovery services. It also strengthens Ryan's proprietary software development capabilities, providing a competitive advantage through an innovative approach that combines the power of tax expertise and technology. Second Decimal CEO, Jayme Fishman, will join Ryan as President of a newly created software division and will serve on the Firm's Board of Directors. He will lead a team of dedicated tax and technology experts responsible for the continued development and support of the Firm's expanding suite of software applications.
