Ryan Promotes Three New Principals and Four New Corporate Officers to Senior Leadership Team

Turner, Sean Weaver, and Mike Zarlengo have been promoted to Principal. Also, Gillian Holcomb, Jennifer Ivanelli, and Angela Perkins were promoted to Vice President, and Kathy Weaver was promoted to Senior Vice President.

Richard D. Turner is an executive in Ryan's State Income and Franchise Tax practice based in the Cleveland, Ohio office and specializes in providing multi-disciplinary tax solutions and strategies. Mr. Turner joined the Firm in 2009 and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute for Professionals in Taxation, the Tax Club of Cleveland, and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Dyke College and a Master of Taxation degree from the University of Akron. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Ohio and Georgia.

Sean Weaver is an executive based in the Washington, D.C. office and specializes in providing transaction tax services on a nationwide basis to clients in the defense, technology, data center, and manufacturing industries. Mr. Weaver joined the Firm in 2005 and is a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation. He is a frequent speaker on tax and site selection issues impacting data centers and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Southern Methodist University.

Mike Zarlengo is a business development executive based in the Dallas, Texas office and specializes in providing a suite of multi-disciplinary tax services to large multinational clients. Mr. Zarlengo joined the Firm in 2007 and is a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation and a Tax Committee Member of the American Institute of CPAs. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Texas and a published co-author of Internet Filing Guidelines for State Tax Returns. Mr. Zarlengo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Purdue University and a Master of Science degree in Taxation from DePaul University.

Gillian Holcomb joined Ryan in 2000 and is based in the Dallas, Texas office. She is responsible for operations within the Transaction Tax practice, which is Ryan's largest tax practice area. She is a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and Marketing from Texas A&M University.

Jennifer Ivanelli joined Ryan in 2012 as part of the Firm's acquisition of Thomson Reuters Property Tax Services business and is based in the Chicago, Illinois office. She is responsible for operations within the Property Tax practice, which is Ryan's second largest tax practice area. She is a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation and the American Bar Association and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor degree from Chicago-Kent School of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology. She is an attorney licensed in Illinois.

Angela Perkins joined Ryan in 1999 and is based in the Dallas, Texas office. She is responsible for Ryan's Quality Assurance department and ensures that the Firm's services and client engagements are consistently performed at the highest level possible. Prior to her role in Quality Assurance, Ms. Perkins spent seven years in Ryan's Transaction Tax practice. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and Economics from Texas Tech University.

Kathy Weaver joined Ryan in 2006 and is based in the Dallas, Texas office.
