
Ryan Stroker Joins Amherst Securities Group's Institutional Sales Division
AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 29, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Amherst Securities Group, L.P., a leading financial services provider to institutional investors in the mortgage sector, announced today that it has hired Ryan Stroker as a Senior Vice President in its institutional sales division. Prior to joining Amherst, Mr. Stroker was a Managing Director and Head of Price-Smart Valuation Advisory at Royal Bank of Scotland where he developed and managed the global structured products valuation advisory and pricing service. Mr. Stroker will be based in Amherst's New York office.

Before joining Merrill Lynch, he was a residential mortgage-backed securities banker with Credit Suisse First Boston. Mr. Stroker received his B.A. from Davidson College.
