Ryan Van Der Vorste Joins Sonic Boom Wellness as Chief Operating Officer
CARLSBAD, Calif., March 21, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- San Diego-based corporate wellness innovator Sonic Boom Wellness is proud to announce the addition of Ryan Van Der Vorste to its executive leadership team as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Van Der Vorste joins Sonic Boom from Cerner Corporation, where he served as Director of Wellness Operations within the Population Health Organization, responsible for more than $30 million in annual revenue. Van Der Vorste brings immense expertise in the wellness industry, as well as experience guiding a small company in tremendous growth.

Van Der Vorste brings nearly a decade of experience in the wellness industry. Van Der Vorste's wellness career began at Carlsbad-based PureWellness as Director of Operations. He played an integral role in helping scale operations while doubling the number of clients for three consecutive years, and growing revenue 10 times over. PureWellness was acquired by Cerner in 2013, during which time Van Der Vorste facilitated the seamless integration of the two operations. He was selected into Cerner's Population Health Leadership Development Program, and sat on both the Change Revenue Board and Employer Advisory Council. Before his time at PureWellness and Cerner, Van Der Vorste co-founded and served as Vice President of Operations for Showtime Marketing, Inc. Prior to that business, he was the National Account Manager for American Golf Corporation.
