Rycor LLC expands into commercial heating and cooling market with new leadership

NEW PALTZ, N.Y., July 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- RYCOR LLC, the Northeast's leader in energy-efficient residential mini-splits, is extending its reach to commercial markets, including multi-family housing developments, office buildings and other commercial properties.

Rycor has appointed Gene Cattani to the newly created role of Director of Business Development to lead the growth of commercial markets. Cattani is a 20-year veteran of the clean energy space, with expertise in sales strategy and commercial property development.

He will be responsible for shaping and executing Rycor's commercial growth plan, forming strategic partnerships with developers, contractors, and housing agencies, and supporting the Company's continued expansion into new territories.

Before joining Rycor, Cattani held senior roles at BlocPower, ICAST, and Yardi Systems, where he successfully launched new markets, built and scaled sales teams, and delivered significant enterprise value. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Seton Hall University and has completed executive programs at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Northwestern University. He also serves on the Manasquan, NJ Board of Education.
