Mark joins Cypress Healthcare Consultants, a managed care consulting and contracting service, following several years with Presbyterian Communities and Services in Irving, Texas, where he served as Corporate Director of Operations.
Mark has over 20 years of experience with increasing levels of executive responsibility in the senior care and long term health care industry. He has served as a board member and officer with LeadingAge Texas for 17 years and a member of the policy congress for the national association, LeadingAge.
Mark's experience includes nursing home administration with a national, for-profit company as well as operational direction for multi-program and multi-site, faith-based communities throughout Texas. He has served on a variety of state and federal agency committees and task forces, in addition to providing expert testimony on legal and legislative matters in long term care. Mark earned a B.A. degree in Psychology and an M.S. in Gerontology from Baylor University, and is licensed as a nursing facility administrator (LNFA).
