As part of its 40th birthday celebration, Donsuemor is proud to announce the release of two new products to the company's line of high-end baked goods: the Vanilla Bean and Chocolate Cinnamon Sable cookies. These tempting treats will debut exclusively at the Fancy Food Expo in San Francisco beginning January 17.
With the release of the Sable (pronounced Sah-blay) cookies, Donsuemor is paying homage to its European heritage. Sable is the French word for sandy, and the Sable is Donsuemor's version of the ever popular sandy cookie, a light shortbread with an indulgent granular texture. With every bite the Sable offers an indescribable sense of comfort. The Chocolate Cinnamon Sable is created using rich Dutch cocoa, velvety semi-sweet chocolate chips, spicy cinnamon, and artisanal sea salt. The Vanilla Bean Sable uses real Madagascar vanilla bean, delicate olive oil, and artisanal sea salt. Like other Donsuemor products, the Sable captures the luscious flavors with wholesome ingredients.
