SABMiller F11 Half-Year Results Interviews with CEO and CFO
LONDON, November 18, 2010 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Global brewer SABMiller delivered a strong performance in a difficult market reflecting the resilient nature of the beer category and the advantages of their diversified global footprint. Group revenue was up, driven by higher sales volumes in Africa, China and South Africa, and by price increases, which were mainly taken in the second half of the prior year.
In a video interview on financial broadcaster http://www.cantos.com, SABMiller CEO Graham Mackay said it had been a good first half.
"For us to be able to report growth in volumes, in revenues, plus strong growth in profits, in times like this I think is very creditable and we are pleased with it."
Mr Mackay said current market momentum plus the group's first-half performance should see its own momentum continue into the second half of the year.
