BALTIMORE, Feb. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- SafeNet, Inc., a global leader in data protection, today announced that its SafeNet Authentication Service (SAS) has been awarded ISO 27001:2005 certification by UL-DQS Inc. SafeNet is the only authentication services provider to receive ISO 27001:2005, which is the highest attainable credibility ranking and internationally recognized standard for information security management. This certification further demonstrates SafeNet's authentication services leadership, following the company's inclusion in the Leaders Quadrant in the December 2013 Gartner Magic Quadrant for User Authentication.
