BOULDER, Colo., Jan. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Sage Analytics (www.sageanalytics.com), the developers of a new generation of equipment for the testing of marijuana potency and moisture content, announced today that they will be unveiling their new product, the Luminary™ Profiler, at the Emerald Conference in San Francisco.

The Sage Analytics Luminary™ Profiler is a highly accurate potency measurement system based on optical spectroscopy technology currently used at the top pharmaceutical companies and in other mature and developing industries. Because the Luminary offers high precision, and is portable and easy to operate, it is expected to improve the accessibility, quality and reliability of marijuana testing not previously available to the many players in the industry's eco-system, including growers, dispensaries, edibles manufacturers, and regulators.

The Emerald Conference examines the science of cannabis and how it affects labs, dispensaries, producers and policymakers. While multiple scientific disciplines will be discussed, the focus of this conference will be on analytical testing and the needs of the industry.
