NEW YORK, Sept. 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Top Viacom and A+E Networks marketing executive Samantha A. Maltin has joined Schireson Associates as their newest Partner. She will focus on new business development in the media industry and leading consumer brands, as well as Schireson's corporate marketing efforts. The announcement was made today by Jeff Kingsley, Chief Operating Officer.

Samantha joins Schireson with 20 years of domestic and international experience in the media and entertainment industry, focused on brand strategy and consumer engagement, consumer products, and partnership development.
She was the Head of Marketing for the History & H2 channels at A+E Networks and ran A+E's Corporate Marketing & Innovation team, responsible for strategy and planning for A+E products and services and building new revenue lines for the company.
She was responsible for all consumer marketing efforts and brand creative across History's content platforms, including brand strategy and development, consumer engagement, brand creative, and digital and social media. While at History, Samantha oversaw the network rebrand, as well as launched campaigns for some of History's most successful series, including Emmy award winning Hatfields & McCoys, The Bible, Vikings, and Top Gear. Prior to joining History, Samantha spent 15 years at Viacom in various senior domestic and international roles, including marketing, partnerships, consumer products licensing, and business development.
Samantha is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a dual B.A. in Political Science and French, and also studied at the Université Paris-Sorbonne.
