Samsung Galaxy S4 Gets Two Sleek and Stylish 2nd Generation WiQiQi Wireless Chargers For Desktop and Car Use
Monster Watts' advanced new chargers work with all WiQiQi ultra thin receivers, iPhone 5 receiver cases, and other Qi devices
NEW YORK, June 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Monster Watts, an innovator of power accessories for Samsung and Apple phones, is shipping two new WiQiQi wireless chargers for the Samsung Galaxy S4, and soon the iPhone 5 too.

Back in April, over 10,000 1st generation WiQiQi wireless chargers for the Samsung Galaxy S4, S3, and Note 2 were sold on the first day that they were available for pre-order. They were a hit with retailers and users alike because the WiQiQi ultra thin receivers fit under the phone back covers and keep the original thin body and lightweight designs. Therefore, the phones fit into standard cases and docks.
Samsung has started shipping a $90 wireless charger add-on package for the S4. However, their receiver is part of a thicker replacement back cover which makes the phone unable to fit into most cases and docks. The charger pad also must be powered by the Samsung phone charger.
The 2nd generation WiQiQi Curve is stylishly oval and comes in black (available late June) or white (available August), with an AC adapter. It can charge through soft cases, and work with any Qi devices.
The more powerful WiQiQi Versa (available late June) is white, rectangular, and comes with an AC adapter. It can charge through thicker cases. Its compact size and standard micro USB connector is designed so that it can also be used in a car (with any 5V USB port or plug).
For the Apple iPhone 5, a new WiQiQi thin case was designed with a wireless receiver, and the phone slips right in. The rubberized thin black case adds virtually no bulk or weight, and can work with any Qi charger.
Both WiQiQi Curve and Versa Wireless Chargers for the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be available in late June, as well as sets for the S3 and Note 2.
