The DAV's MSO program is designed to educate and assist disabled veterans and their families about specific veteran's benefits. Those who want to file compensation and disability claims, inquire about continuing education opportunities for veterans, or have general questions about veterans' benefits are encouraged to visit the MSO, which will be parked in front of the store from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Visit the store at 1072 Camino Del Rio N., San Diego, CA 92108.

25% In-Store Discount

The Mission Valley Borders store — as well as all Borders, Waldenbooks, Borders Express and Airport stores nationwide — is extending to active and retired military and their dependents a generous 25% discount off the list price of almost everything in store (with some exclusions) now through Sunday, July 4.

Borders Benefit Days

In addition, the store will host a "Benefit Day" on July 10 and 11 to support the work of the DAV. Throughout the year, Borders stores partner with nonprofits across the country to host Benefit Days — fundraising events where supporters of the nonprofits shop on a designated day or days.  Borders will donate up to 30% of the days' net sales, made by the nonprofit supporters, to the participating organization.  To obtain a voucher in support of the DAV Benefit Day, customers can visit or call the store at (619) 295-2201.
