San Diego County Credit Union customers donate over 15,000 meals to local San Diegans

SAN DIEGO, Feb. 25, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Customers of San Diego County Credit Union (SDCCU), San Diego's largest locally-owned financial institution, have donated more than 15,000 meals to San Diegans through SDCCU Dining Deals^TM.

Through a partnership with MOGL, SDCCU customers who are enrolled in SDCCU Dining Deals^® receive up to 25 percent cash back on their dining purchases at participating restaurants. When customers are offered cash back, they are given the option to donate the entire return, or even just a portion of it, to MOGL's charitable partner, Feeding America San Diego—the largest hunger-relief organization in the county. Since the partnership with MOGL began, the amount of money donated by SDCCU customers has translated into a total of 15,482 meals for the organization.
