Sandestin Family Retail Shops Announces a Fresh New Look for Island Clothiers and Barefoot Princess
Grand Reopening Celebration Scheduled for March 18-20
MIRAMAR BEACH, FL, March 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ - The Sandestin Family Retail Shops announced today that two staple stores, Island Clothiers and Barefoot Princess, are unveiling a brand new look in March. Both stores are located in the Village of Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort.
Executive director Sara Becnel explains, "We are always striving to innovate in order to bring the best shopping experience to our guests, and we believe this extensive remodel of our flagship location will do just that."
With all new fixtures, lighting and layout, the interior design of Barefoot Princess and Island Clothiers will be markedly improved, and will still carry favorite brands such as Lilly Pulitzer, Vineyard Vines and Lauren James. Island Clothiers will now feature a Southern Tide "shop-within-a-shop". "We are truly excited about our new partnership with Southern Tide", Becnel says. "The shop-within-a-shop concept will allow us to highlight one of our most successful brands, and feature incredibly fun design elements like a full size canoe hanging from the ceiling." This comes at a fortunate time for both Island Clothiers and Southern Tide, as the highly successful clothing line is launching an extensive, all new women's line. Island Clothiers is proud to be able to feature the line, alongside the brand's well-known and loved men's collection, in the newly remodeled store.
The stores will reopen Thursday, March 3, and will celebrate the new remodel with a fun-filled grand reopening weekend on March 18-20. On Friday, March 18 from 5:30 - 8 pm there will be "Cupcakes and Champagne with Lilly Pulitzer" along with an anniversary event gift-with-purchase that will run all weekend. Becnel explains, "We are now officially making this weekend our anniversary and plan to celebrate this tradition every year moving forward!" On Saturday, there will be a Southern Tide Trunk Show from 2 - 5 pm with giveaways for customers, cornhole and upscale sliders and fries with beer to wash it all down. A Sunday brunch will cap off the weekend from 11am to 2pm with a Moon & Lola jewelry trunk show, an omelet station, fresh fruit, pastries and our new Sandestin Sandollar cocktail featuring local Chaste 850 liquor. In addition to these featured events, there will also be giveaways throughout the weekend from Rowdy Gentleman, Jill Massey, Karlie, Lauren James, Vineyard Vines and more.
