SANDESTIN GIVES HOLIDAY CHEER TO HUNDREDS OF LOCAL FAMILIES AND CHILDREN IN NEED THIS CHRISTMAS

DESTIN, FL, Dec. 20 /PRNewswire/ - Just in time for Christmas, the employees of Sandestin Investments, LLC have spread holiday cheer to hundreds of families and children in need this season.  This past week, SDI employees were able to donate hundreds of toys and gift cards to support the children and families in the local community.

More than 132 children and families were adopted by SDI employees for the Santa Patrol Program which supplies gifts to the underprivileged children in Walton County. 

In addition, Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort invited the children of the Youth Village to a special holiday event at the Grand Sandestin lobby located at Sandestin on December 16.  The children received a special tour of the Enchanted Forest Gingerbread Display conducted by one of Sandestin's acclaimed Pastry Chef's, complete with cookies and hot cocoa.  Following the tour, Santa arrived to visit and listen to all of their Christmas wishes and was able to provide each child with a beautifully wrapped gift. 

Many local residents of the community were also able to contribute with Sandestin's "Tee off for Toys" event.  Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort offered complimentary golf at all three of its public courses, Rave Golf Club, Baytowne Golf Club and The Links Course on December 19.  In exchange for the complimentary green and golf car fees, residents donated new, unwrapped toys and gift cards with values of $15 and more.  Hundreds of toys and thousands of dollars were collected and will be able to benefit the Emerald Coast Children's Advocacy Center.
