Kallmeyer Joins Team to Drive Success and Resort Receives Recognition

DESTIN, Fl, Jan. 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ - Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, the #1 resort on Florida's Emerald Coast, announced the appointment of a key executive to their operations team and the resort received local and national recognition.

Robert Kallmeyer joined Sandestin in January as the Resort Director responsible for Front Office, Guest Services, Reservations, PBX/Telephone, Housekeeping, Laundry, Transportation and Activities while working closely with Engineering.  Kallmeyer brings more than 20 years of leadership and management experience in all facets of full-service resort, hotel and spa operations.  In 2005, Kallmeyer was recognized by Hyatt Hotels as "Executive of the Year'.

Since 2007, Kallmeyer served as General Manager of several Hyatt Hotels in Palm Springs, Cleveland and Cincinnati.  His career has covered 13 states in various executive management positions, and he will also be responsible for the operation of the resort in the absence of the General Manager.
