How does NPS work?
NPS measures the loyalty between a provider and a consumer, typically a business and its customers. The company asks, 'how likely are you to recommend us to your friend or colleague?' The question is asked using a scale from 0 to 10, in which 10 is extremely likely and 0 is not at all likely. The calculation then takes the percentage of respondents that select a rating of 9 or 10 (classified as 'promoters') minus the percentage of respondents that select a rating of 0 through to 6 (classified as 'detractors')
