Savage President Bethany Andell Honored with 2018 Rice University Business Alumni Award

HOUSTON, Sept. 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Savage Brands President Bethany Andell is the recipient of the 2018 Rice University Business Alumni Award – Industry Excellence Award in Consulting for outstanding professional achievements and exemplary leadership.

Established by the Jones Graduate School Alumni Association, the Rice Business Alumni Awards annually recognize alumni in four industry categories. The awards honor individuals who are a model of leadership and demonstrate dedicated service to the community.

Her company is a founding member of the Houston chapter of Conscious Capitalism International and has been a driving force in spreading awareness of its principles. Andell co-authored the book "Get Your Head Out of Your Bottom Line and Build Your Brand on Purpose" as a practical and useful guide to building purposeful brands.

Andell serves on the board of AVDA, the advisory board of IberiaBank Houston, the Houston Exponential image committee and is a member of Vistage International. She is also past president and current board member of the National Investor Relations Institute Houston Chapter, and a member of the alumni association board of the Jones School of Management at Rice University.

The Rice University Business Alumni Award ceremony and dinner was Friday, September 7, at Cohen House on the Rice University campus.
