SC Solar to Showcase PV Module Automation and Turnkey Factory Solutions at RE+ 2026

Automation tailored to diverse cell technologies, turnkey factory solutions and local U.S. support

LAS VEGAS, Oct. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- SC Solar will present its latest manufacturing technologies at RE+ 2026, taking place November 17–19 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. At Booth N2840, visitors can explore automation solutions for TOPCon multi-cut, back-contact (BC) and heterojunction (HJT) technologies, alongside complete factory solutions and local support for U.S. manufacturers.

As cell technologies evolve, module manufacturers face different requirements for interconnection, handling and encapsulation. SC Solar provides dedicated equipment and line configurations for each technology, helping customers match their manufacturing plans to their chosen production processes.

Automation for Different Cell Technologies

For TOPCon multi-cut applications, SC Solar combines multi-cut layup welding, ribbon folding and jumper welding equipment to support different cut counts and circuit layouts.

For back-contact technologies, printing and curing equipment works alongside stringing solutions for HPBC, TBC, HBC and other BC cell types. Available stringing methods include high-temperature solder paste, low-temperature film bonding and low-temperature dispensing, selected according to the cell design and process requirements.

For zero-busbar (0BB) HJT applications, SC Solar offers line configurations for film-based and adhesive-based processes. These integrate the required film laying, adhesive application, UV curing or infrared soldering equipment, along with lamination solutions suited to heat-sensitive HJT cells.

Complete Factory Automation

SC Solar integrates module production, logistics and digital management into a turnkey factory solution. The production line covers glass loading, stringing, layup, lamination, framing, testing and sorting. Automated material warehousing and unpacking, module packaging, finished goods storage and truck loading connect the production line with the rest of the factory.

Automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and rail-guided vehicles (RGVs) transfer materials between production and storage areas. A manufacturing execution system (MES) coordinates production and tracks modules from order to shipment, while AI-powered inspection supports quality control at key stages. Factory layouts and equipment configurations are tailored to the customer's facility, capacity plan and chosen technology.

Local Support for U.S. Manufacturers

SC Solar supports customers from factory planning through production ramp-up and ongoing operations. Digital factory design helps align equipment, floor space and material flow before delivery. Project support includes equipment manufacturing and factory testing, installation and commissioning, followed by product and material qualification, process optimization and quality control setup.

In the United States, SC Solar has shipped more than 40 production lines since 2017 and established its U.S. subsidiary in 2024. A local technical team and spare-parts warehouse in Texas support preventive maintenance, critical spare-parts supply and remote diagnostics. Regular reviews of downtime, overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and consumable usage help customers identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.

Guided by its mission to "Make PV Manufacturing as Easy as Possible," SC Solar combines technology-specific automation with factory integration and local service to support customers throughout their manufacturing projects.
