The announcement comes just four months after the acquisition of AST Modular and seven months after Schneider Electric rolled out a new line of 15 prefabricated IT, Power and Cooling modules and 14 reference designs. Schneider Electric's Prefab Demo Unit comes in a 45ft enclosure and it features 10 IT racks, a modular APC Symmetra PX 48kW UPS, remote environmental monitoring, security access along with both APC InRow Chilled Water and AST Chilled Water Block cooling.
The new unit demonstrates Schneider Electric's unique capabilities in IT space prefabrication that offer enterprise customers the benefit of easier design, faster construction, scalability and more predictable performance.
