SEATTLE, April 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Entertainment and lifestyle TV personality Scott Carty is launching 'The Scott Carty Party,' a new experience to bring people together for a night of conversation combined with cocktails and music. Carty kicked off 'The Scott Carty Party' at Seattle restaurant Staple & Fancy Mercantile, featuring a monologue, followed by a videotaped interview with chef owner Ethan Stowell, Collingwood Whisky representative Erica Beindorff, and singer/songwriter Shelby Earl. "It's all about creating an experience," said Carty. "I want to create something meaningful, and fun. This gives the crowd a chance to be a part of something you just can't find anywhere else."

Launching with a comedic commentary, Carty interviewed his guests on topics such as the ubiquitous use of smartphones in restaurants and at concerts, to the more serious topic of taking risks. "As much as my nose is buried in social media, I hope this is a way to bridge the gap between social and real life, with a chance to talk face to face," explained Carty.
Restaurateur Ethan Stowell is on board with the concept. "I'm very excited to be a part of The Scott Carty Party," said Stowell. "I think we can all use a little more conversation, a few more laughs and some music that's good for the soul."
Music is a key component, and singer/songwriter Shelby Earl provided a first-rate concert in the intimate venue, performing songs from her upcoming album. "When I sing with people sitting so close to me I can feel their emotions, and I think they can feel mine," said Earl. "And because of that, the songs become infinitely more impactful and the music carries more meaning."
The invitation-only audience sipped Collingwood Whisky "Stowell-fashioneds" during the event. "Collingwood just refreshed its brand," said Beindorff. "That's allowing me to be creative in seeking new opportunities such as this one, and I thought it was a perfect fit."
